Job Description
Food and Beverage Supervisor in Airport Lounge
Responsibilities:
- Supervision and Team Management:
- Lead and supervise a team of food and beverage service staff, including servers, bartenders, and kitchen personnel.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure the team delivers excellent customer service and meets operational standards.
- Schedule staff shifts and allocate responsibilities effectively to optimize service efficiency and maintain staffing levels as per operational requirements.
Guest Experience Management:
- Oversee the provision of personalized and attentive service to lounge guests, addressing their needs and resolving any issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Ensure that the lounge atmosphere remains welcoming, clean, and comfortable for guests at all times, coordinating with cleaning and maintenance staff as needed.
- Monitor guest feedback and satisfaction levels, implementing improvements and adjustments to enhance the overall guest experience.
Menu and Beverage Management:
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to develop menus and beverage offerings tailored to the preferences of lounge guests.
- Ensure the availability of high-quality food and beverage items, monitoring inventory levels, and coordinating with suppliers to replenish stock as needed.
- Maintain adherence to food safety and sanitation standards, overseeing food preparation, handling, and storage practices to ensure compliance with regulations.
Operational Efficiency and Compliance:
- Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for food and beverage service, including order processing, payment transactions, and inventory management, to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of food service areas, equipment, and facilities to identify and address any maintenance or compliance issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant regulations, policies, and industry best practices related to food safety, hygiene, and alcohol service, ensuring full compliance at all times.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Liaise with airport authorities, vendors, and other relevant stakeholders to coordinate logistics, resolve operational issues, and ensure smooth collaboration with external service providers.
- Communicate effectively with lounge staff, providing clear instructions, updates, and feedback to foster teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with other departments within the airport, such as security, facilities management, and customer service, to facilitate seamless operations and address cross-functional requirements.
