Job Description
- Foster relationships with clients, vendors, and fleet personnel and advise on activities to maintain health of fleet.
- Schedule and perform record keeping of all activities completed, (services, repairs etc) whether by Vendor or managed by a third-party vendor.
- Collaborate with Buyer and Customer to improve program and create greater efficiencies.
- Schedule with third-party vendors corrective mechanical and body repairs as to be agreed upon by Buyer, Vendor, and Customer and which may be revised from time to time.
- Key management of variable fleet units
- Perform detailed pre and post in-service inspections of the variable fleet.
- Coordinate light detailing / washing / cleaning of variable fleet units.
- All the rental cars are properly scheduled for services ( based on mileage) and maintenance and track them in the system.
- Regular follow up with customer based on service schedules.
- In case of accidents, coordinate with the customer and ask for related police / MP reports.
- Ensuring all fleet registrations are up to date.
- Ensure all Fleet insurances are up to date and making sure these are sent for renewal at least 1 month ahead of the expiry date.
- Develop a strategy for decreasing vehicle cost.
- Follow all vehicle regulations and laws.
Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2-5 years customer service or client account management experience is highly desirable, preferably in a B2B service environment.
- 2+ years of managing rental or fleet vehicles with an understanding in customer service, maintenance, and inspections a plus.
- Proficiency in various MS Office software applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Ability to drive and be on your feet up to 8 to 10 hours per day.
- Availability on some weekends and some holidays.
- Great organizational skills
