The incumbent will be responsible for the following:
* Assisting the Health & Fitness Manager in the implementation of all fitness programs, classes, and services as determined by the organization to fulfill the requirements of members/clients.
* Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to Personal Trainers, Group Exercise Instructors, and Swim Instructors.
* Supporting the Health & Fitness Manager in the development and management of staff schedules.
* Monitoring daily operations to ensure operational efficiency and a seamless workflow.
* Ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of all fitness areas, including studios, pool areas, and training spaces.
* Coordinating with maintenance personnel to address any maintenance-related issues.
* Assisting the Health & Fitness Manager in the management of the fitness department budget and contributing to the monitoring of expenses.
* Conducting regular performance reviews with team members and providing constructive feedback to facilitate their professional development.
* Supporting the Health & Fitness Manager in organizing ongoing training sessions and professional development opportunities.
* Cultivating a collaborative and supportive work environment.
* Ensuring adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations and industry standards in all fitness programs and practices.
