Examine financial statements to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable standards and regulationsInspect account books, statements, ledgers, and accounting systems for efficiency and use of accepted accounting procedures Assess financial operations and make best-practices recommendations to managementUndertaking internal audits to ensure the company meets its financial objectivesChallenging current processes across the company and identify opportunities for refinementEngaging remediation of identified issues through follow-upPlaying an active role in the maintenance and review of policies and procedures, including ensuring they are up to date with all legislation and best practicesCommunicating with a variety of stakeholders across the company
Job Requirements :
Max Age: 35 YearPrevious experience in Retail is a MustDegree in Internal Auditing, Financial Accounting or Financial Management .Two years of work experience in an internal audit environment.Two years of Financial Auditing experience is a MUSTAccreditation with the Institute of Internal Auditors.Exceptional accounting skills.Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent documentationExcellent reporting skillsThe ability to keep calm under pressure, especially when there are tight deadlinesThe ability to think objectively
