Job Description
- Ensure financial systems are robust, compliant, and support current business activities and future growth.
- Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
- Manage the day-to-day activities of the Department.
- Ensure the formation of corporate budgeting and formulate strategies for business expansion.
- Establish a high level of credibility and manage effective working relation with external parties including clients, consultants, vendors and etc.
- Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
- Lead and develop finance team in meeting targeted objective.
- Attend financial meetings and advice on the company’s financial position and implement action points for execution.
- Review market performance and implement sustainable strategies for growth.
- Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions.
- Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
- Evaluate subordinate requirements, allocation of duties and responsibilities.
- Hold periodic business review with team and evaluate on the evolution of business activities.
- Embark on financial risk analysis (network site performance) and advice on measures for mitigation or eradication.
- Oversee and subscribe to the management of all leases, contracts, and financial commitments and ensure compliance with agreement signed.
- Reconciliation of Inter Company balances and allocation of expenditures in the appropriate subsidiaries and affiliates.
- Manage payroll, corporate taxes, annual reports, government audits and relevant or periodic financial exercise as may be required.
- Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Skills
- Capable to deal with banks especially letter of credits opening.
- Has experience in designing and implementing financial policies and procedure and implementing it with full integration and synchronization with special international known software used in aforementioned industry.
- Has leadership capability, and good tax knowledge background that enable him to clearly understand and comply with Liberian tax law.
- Excellent English language capabilities and high reporting and office software knowledge and skills.
