Job Description
- Responsibilities:
- Preparing the budget; including the forecasting funds required for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; monitor budget variance.
- Provide administrative support during budget preparation.
- Gather and monitor financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities).
- Monitor and report on accounting discrepancies.
- Ensure proper inventory management.
- Prepare accurate financial reports, revenue projections and other reports as required.
- Provide accurate data to superiors with on-going forecasting of operating revenues and expenditures, and the resulting operational impact.
- Ensure to performs all bank account reconciliations monthly and when needed, communicates with the bank to understand, and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Track and reconcile bank statements.
- Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed.
Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or accounting.
- 4 years of experience in Finance.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in the development, management, and oversight of institutional budgets.
- Advanced MS Excel skills and good knowledge of accounting.
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
