Job Description

  • Develop and own the policies, strategy & plans for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility and assure their alignment with The Company strategic direction and compliance with the statutory requirements and applicable standards.
  • Develop and own the annual business plan and associated budget in line with the approved policies, strategy & plans for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility.
  • Develop and oversee the implementation of optimal structure, policies, procedures and controls covering all activities in the area(s) within the scope of responsibility in support of The Company strategic direction and in compliance with the relevant statutory requirements and applicable standards.
  • Manage the resources and operations at the area(s) within the scope of responsibility in line with the approved policies, strategy & plans.
  • Identify, develop, and maintain a dashboard of KPIs and Score-cards to monitor the effectiveness of the deployed policies, strategies and plans for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility.
  • Assure continuous and effective optimization of processes and resources for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility.
  • Perform data analysis and prepare timely and accurate reports for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility.
  • Proactively identify, study, propose, and pursue developmental initiatives in line with the approved policies, strategies and plans for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility.
  • Ensure that company data, information, documentations and reports for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility are kept updated and archived physically and electronically in line with the approved policy.
  • Ensure that the principal risks for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility, including but not limited to, environmental, operational, financial, geological, legal and regulatory risks, are identified and that appropriate systems are in place which effectively monitor, mitigate and communicate those risks.
  • Manage the engagement with the auditors through effective collaboration and prompt and comprehensive responses to assure the successful closure of audit observations within the scope of responsibility.
  • Assure the provision of timely, and attentive quality service to customers, ensuring that their requirements are fulfilled and their queries and concerns are effectively addressed in a manner that achieves their satisfaction and reflects positively on performance.
  • Compile the annual budget for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility in accordance with the business plan, other operational activities, and/or statutory requirements.
  • Monitor and control expenditure against the approved budget throughout the fiscal year for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility.
  • Certify/authorize the invoices and other related documents for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility in accordance with approved DoA.
  • Develop and maintain work culture that promotes integrity and ethical values at the area(s) within the scope of responsibility.
  • Develop and maintain a result-oriented and customer-focused team(s) delivering premium customer service and achieving optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to implement the strategy and plans for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility and achieve the intended targets.
  • Create a positive and supportive work environment that encourages performance excellence, and establishes result-oriented teams with common purpose, goals and shared values.
  • Manage and develop the performance of the team within the scope of responsibility and assure their alignment with the established policies, strategy & plans, and their contributions towards the realization of results.
  • Effectively manage relations with stakeholders in support of the approved policies, strategy & plans for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility and in compliance with the statutory requirements and applicable standards.
  • Represent the company in business events as required in line with the approved strategy and plans for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility.
  • Observe QHSSE Best-Practice guidelines and/or approved applicable policies and procedures for the area(s) within the scope of responsibility.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on local statutory requirements, applicable standards, global trends and technological advancements in the core lines of the operations at the area(s) within the scope of responsibility and utilize this knowledge to develop performance.
  • Perform any relevant additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the immediate superior(s).
