Job Description :
Act as a key strategic partner to the CEO and the executive team providing financial guidance and counsel to propel the business forward. Take ownership for results along with the executive management team by leading with strategic finance. Effectively manage all matters relating to the finance function including strategic business planning, budgeting and forecasting, financial and SaaS analysis, risk management and compliance.Enable the success of the organization by leading with strategic finance. Work with the CEO and the management team to set business objectives, then facilitate business transformation, change management and effective implementation to achieve those objectives.Optimally staff the finance department and provide hands-on leadership, guidance, mentorship and performance management to the finance staff in the organization through developing clear processes, internal controls and structured data that is aligned with the needs of the business.Remain informed about the business and work with business intelligence tools and dashboard reports enabling real time assessment of business performance and ‘what’s over the horizon’.Monitor financial and business performance indicators, including key SaaS metrics, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of variance and ensuring appropriate access to such analyses and metrics for all internal stakeholders.Support the CEO and executive team in planning and cascading stretch revenue targets for the company and the sales organization.Understand key elements of the company’s strategic and operational risks. Recommend mitigation plans for these risks and implement them where relevant.Manage the preparation of historical and forecast financial statements as well as periodic management reports. Work with the CEO and management with a view to accurately and positively represent the company as an attractive investment opportunity. Lead and optimize financial budgeting, planning and review cycles at quality and in a timely manner to enable business objectives.Serve as a champion for enterprise excellence by using ERP and automation to maximize value creation.Conduct effective treasury and cash management and optimize the company’s working capital.Manage the accounting, legal, tax, and collections needs of the organization.Manage our relationship with the audit firm and tax advisor for annual audit/income tax activities and all related matters.Effectively manage all bank relationships.Provide financial inputs to the HR department as relevant to the company’s labor costs and employee equity-linked rewards. Maintain appropriate insurance coverage for the business’s activities and assets.
Job Requirements :
Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor in Finance. Minimum Experience:A minimum of 10 years of experience including senior management roles. Greater weight will be given to experience in investment banking or private equity, as well as in the following sectors: telecom, technology, online classifieds & marketplaces.Job-Specific Skills:Experience with NetSuite or other financial management software (SAP or Oracle) Experience with a data visualization software (Tableau or PowerBI)Demonstrates Leadership and Strategic VisionStrong Problem Solving AbilitiesStrong Work EthicReliablePerfect in written & spoken English & Arabic
