This organization is developing a contemporary, sophisticated, and empowering modest fashion brand for women and young adults. The objective is to integrate enduring modesty principles with contemporary aesthetics in apparel that embodies identity, assurance, and innovation. A **Part-Time Fashion Designer** with a demonstrated interest in modest attire and youth culture is sought to contribute to the development of initial collections.

**Position Summary**

The **Part-Time Modest Fashion Designer** will be responsible for the conceptualization and design of capsule collections that align with the company’s core values. Collaboration with the Founder, Production Manager, and Branding Team will be essential to ensure designs are practical for production, visually compelling, and culturally appropriate.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

* Design seasonal collections that emphasize modesty, elegance, and appeal to a younger demographic.
* Create sketches, mood boards, technical specifications, and documentation for sampling and production purposes.
* Translate current market trends into inventive and practical designs suitable for modest apparel.
* Collaborate with the Production Team to ensure designs are feasible, cost-effective, and production-ready.
* Assist in the selection of fabrics, trims, and finishing techniques that are consistent with the requirements of modest fashion.
* Refine and finalize designs based on sampling, fit assessments, and production limitations.

**Required Qualifications**

* Minimum of two (2) years of experience in fashion design; experience in modest wear is highly desirable.
* A robust portfolio that showcases modest fashion designs and proficiency in garment construction.
* Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or comparable design software; knowledge of pattern-making is advantageous.
* Comprehensive understanding of modesty considerations, including appropriate lengths, layering techniques, neckline styles, and fit.
* Enthusiasm for youth fashion, cultural relevance, and expressive design.
* Ability to work autonomously and adhere to deadlines in a remote or flexible work setting.
