Job Description
- Supervising the work of maintenance workers or contractors who perform repairs or new construction projects onsite
- Maintaining safety standards by inspecting facilities for hazards such as damaged floors or exposed wiring and taking appropriate action to correct the problem
- Coordinating with architects, contractors, engineers, interior designers, and other professionals involved in designing and building new facilities or renovating existing ones
- Reviewing plans for new construction projects to ensure they meet code requirements and have adequate support for walls, roofs, and other structures
- Scheduling repairs to facilities, equipment, or grounds to ensure they are completed efficiently and effectively
- Coordinating with insurance companies to assess damage claims and repair damage to facilities
- (accommodation, hotel/ companies/ schools..)
Skills
Essential
- Communication skills
- A high level of IT skills with experience of Microsoft packages
- IOSH or equivalent
- Professional attitude and commitment to delivering a high level of customer service
Desirable
- Experience of working in an environment where compliance to standards is key
- Experience within the facilities management industry
- Payroll experience
