**Summary:**

We are seeking a qualified Extrusion Engineer possessing three to five years of practical experience within a plastic manufacturing environment. The selected candidate will assume responsibility for the management and optimization of the extrusion process, ensuring consistent product quality, optimal machine performance, and minimal production downtime.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Operation and oversight of plastic extrusion machinery (single or twin-screw).
* Monitoring and adjustment of process parameters to maintain product specifications and operational efficiency.
* Diagnostic analysis and resolution of issues pertaining to extrusion lines, raw materials, or tooling.
* Collaboration with the maintenance department in the execution of preventative maintenance and equipment repairs.
* Oversight of the proper setup and changeover of extrusion dies and related tooling.
* Analysis of production data and preparation of performance reports.
* Collaboration with quality control personnel to ensure adherence to product specifications.
* Development and implementation of process improvements aimed at waste reduction and productivity enhancement.
* Training and supervision of extrusion operators, ensuring adherence to established safety protocols.

**Required Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Polymer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
* A minimum of three to five years of direct experience in plastic extrusion processes (films, sheets, profiles, or pipes).
* Comprehensive knowledge of extrusion equipment and thermoplastic materials.
* Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving process-related and mechanical malfunctions.
* Experience with lean manufacturing principles and process optimization methodologies is desirable.
* Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure and within a collaborative team environment.
* Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

**Working Environment:**

This is a full-time, on-site position located within a factory setting. The role may require shift work or overtime, contingent upon production demands.
