Job Description
Carries, delivers, collects, and pays fees for/on behalf of the company for permits, licenses, and related documents with Government Departments or local bodies.
Skills
Duties Performed:
a) Delivers applications for permits, licenses, iqamas, etc., to Government Departments assigned. Accompanies individual employees to Government Departments where necessary.
b) Follow-up progress of various applications with Government Departments and agencies until completed.
c) Collects documents from Government Departments and returns to the Government Relations Department Assistant or Manager.
d) Inform the Manager regarding any changes in Government procedures or policies affecting the documentation process between the company and the Government Departments assigned.
e) Works in a timely and efficient way to ensure that schedules are met.
f) Keeps the Government Relations Coordinator fully informed regarding any matters:
i) For which his Manager may be held accountable
ii) Which requires his Manager’s advice
iii) Which requires a change in policies or a deviation from the rules and regulations.
