Job Description:**Worley: E&I Quantity Surveyor Opportunity**

**Key Responsibilities:**

* **Measurement and Valuation:** Accurately measure and quantify all electrical and instrumentation (E&I) works based on drawings, specifications, and site information; prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and material take-offs; conduct interim valuations and process progress claims for subcontractors and clients; verify actual quantities installed against contractual allowances.
* **Cost Control and Forecasting:** Monitor and control project costs, including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses; assist in the preparation of monthly cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports; identify cost trends and variances, providing timely warnings of potential overruns.
* **Contract Administration:** Administer contracts for E&I subcontractors and suppliers, encompassing variations, claims, and change orders; evaluate and negotiate contract variations in coordination with the project team; maintain comprehensive records of correspondence, instructions, and site changes.
* **Procurement Support:** Assist in the procurement of E&I packages through the preparation of tender documents, scope clarifications, and cost comparisons; review supplier and subcontractor quotations to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.
* **Reporting and Documentation:** Prepare weekly and monthly commercial reports for management and client review; maintain current records of all E&I commercial and contractual matters; contribute to project close-out reports, final accounts, and lessons learned documentation.
* **Compliance and Safety:** Ensure all surveying activities adhere to company policies, contract conditions, and HSE standards; support site teams in the application of project controls aligned with corporate and client standards.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

* Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Demonstrable experience in E&I quantity surveying, preferably within mining, oil & gas, or heavy industrial construction projects.
* Comprehensive understanding of E&I systems, materials, and installation methods.
* Proficiency in cost management and estimating software.
* Exceptional numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
* Proven ability to work effectively within a site-based, multi-disciplinary team environment.
