Key Tasks and ResponsibilitiesKnowledge and understanding of company and project specific Environment, Health and Safety requirements as per contract, scope of work applicable regulatory requirements and project deliverables.Having at least 7 years of experience in construction activitiesDevelops plans such as Environment, Health and Safety, Emergency Response Plan & environment management plan, and other relevant specific EHS deliverables and monitor implementation.Develop and oversee plans to meet project objectives & targets aligned to the area and projectInterface with contractors within the project on Environment, Health and Safety issues and activitiesUnderstanding and monitoring of controls of Environment, Health and Safety related risks (e.g. aspects and impacts) and other risk reviewsDevelops Environment, Health and Safety audit plans and conducts auditsRegular participation in site inspections with focus on EHS practices and complianceParticipate in reviews, operations safety weekly/monthly, internal and project meetingsPreparation and maintenance of EHS activity plansEnsure EHS related incidents are reported, investigated and corrective actions are implemented to avoid recurrence of similar incidentProvide EHS input into look ahead plans and reports based on project scheduleEstablish EHS program and campaigns in line with project.Able to work in high pressure and cover more than one contractor.Fluent in speaking, writing and reading English.

Essential Qualifications and Education7 years relevant experience in Construction fieldCertificate/Diploma in Environment, Health and Safety such as NEBOSH IGC or IOSH MSAcademic degree Preferred Qualifications and Education:ISO Certificates, any of 45001 or 14001Bachelor’s Degree
