Job Description:**Director – Project Control Opportunity at Parsons**

Parsons is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Director – Project Control to lead and manage a team of professionals overseeing all phases of large-scale projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, managing, and executing comprehensive project control strategies throughout the program lifecycle. This role requires extensive knowledge of project control best practices, demonstrated leadership abilities, and a proven track record of success in managing complex projects.

**Responsibilities:**

* Provide expert guidance and direction in resolving complex project control challenges.
* Interface with clients, attend meetings, and provide strategic recommendations to support informed decision-making.
* Lead the development of a comprehensive program master coding architecture and a robust, scalable reporting system.
* Guide the development and implementation of project control procedures, focusing on schedule, cost, earned value, risk, and change management.
* Manage a team of project control specialists responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and forecasting project costs and performance against established schedules.
* Assess the impact of design changes and schedule variances.
* Recommend and oversee the implementation and customization of project control systems to meet specific project requirements.
* Coordinate staffing requirements, assign and supervise project work activities, and train personnel.
* Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities for assigned employees.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Minimum of 25 years of overall related experience, including at least 10 years in a similar managerial role.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
* Proven stakeholder management skills at the executive level.
* Strong business acumen and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
* PMO/PMC experience is required.

**Desired Skills:**

* Engineering knowledge in civil, electrical, mechanical, or a related field.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills for client presentations, technical reporting, and internal/external correspondence.
* Proficiency in project control software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Ability to manage and motivate a team of construction management professionals.
* Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the project team, client, and other stakeholders.
* Ability to analyze and interpret complex documents.
* Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
* Ability to apply principles of logical and scientific thinking to resolve project-related problems.
