We wish to recruit an experienced Director – Finance to join our Middle East team and actively contribute to the growth and development of the Middle East business. The successful candidate will have at least 15 years’ experience and have worked with an Engineering Consultancy or a similar firm. The primary objective of the Director – Finance ME is to provide leadership for the ME Division Finance, Procurement andInformationTechnology teams. He/ she would have oversightofallfinancialmattersincludingreporting,analysis,budgets,operationalefficiencies andenhancingfinancialand businessprocesses,includingriskmanagementandsystemimprovements.Within the Finance function, the Director – Finance ME reviews finances, budgets and financial exposure to optimize the use ofresources and is responsible for statutory requirements achieving financial integrity. This position ensures the accuracy andcompletenessoffinancialrecordsandrelatedactivitiesin compliance withcompanyPolicyandMEAccountingStandards.Key AccountabilitiesManages the financial operations of the ME Division by driving strong results and efficiencies in budgeting, forecasting,analysis and reporting that supports SJ’s Business Plan and Strategy.Manages the procurement, partnerships and platforms operations by driving best practice within legal, corporate and business procurement practices. Manages the Information Technology function within the ME Division to ensure effective delivery of IT solutions and activities that are aligned to the Group and Divisional IT Strategic Business plan and priorities.Drives effective leadership and people management to ensure optimal performance of all teams to ensure successful delivery of the company strategy.Please note that due to the volume of applications, only candidates with skills and experience matching our current vacancies will be contacted.
