The opportunity

We are seeking a knowledgeable digital marketeer for this role, someone who has successfully delivered campaigns and projects, managed an enterprise website (preferably Sitecore), is experience in managing a small team and supporting agencies and be a people person who can educate and consult to the wider marketing team on all things digital marketing.

The role holder will bring new perspectives and insights to our well-established and forward-thinking digital marketing team, who work collaboratively to push boundaries and redefine what is possible. For the right person, there is a real opportunity to implement change.

An investigative mindset is important, to enable us to maximise digital channels. You’ll use data and insights to test and learn through content engagement and have a good understanding of how we can measure success.

The digital marketing manager will contribute to our strategy and direction, with responsibility for managing a Sitecore CMS, managing our website partner, setting strategy and implementing with the support of direct reports targeted paid advertising campaigns, while driving selected traffic to digital platforms (desktop, mobile and tablet) and through digital channels, including; SEO, PPC, e-CRM, programmatic, paid social and display activity.

The role will involve collaboration with the content, brand, video, events, social and PR teams. In addition, you will use appropriate systems to engage with people at all levels across our global business and build relationships with key stakeholders, as you enhance your skills in digital marketing.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing Sitecore CMS and website partner.

  • Managing and developing a team of two digital marketeers, with one being a direct report and the other a digital apprentice 

  • Optimizing the conversion rate of our digital channels to support the customer journey and improve engagement with identified accounts.

  • Developing an outbound paid digital advertising strategy to generate qualified leads

  • Delivering cultural change in the use of digital marketing to ensure smarter ways of working across marcomms and the wider business.

About you

You have a degree in marketing and digital qualification. You have experience in digital marketing, including website management, paid social, programmatic, PPC, automation and email marketing. You have experience with CMS, preferably Sitecore. You have experience in managing website agencies and a small in-house team. You have examples of managing digital marketing projects, from strategy plan through to implementation and evaluation. You have knowledge of paid social, Google Adwords and programmatic (demand-side platforms). You are familiar with Google Analytics – deep insights of application.
 
You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships, and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You have experience in creating well-rounded digital marketing strategies. and be keen to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
