Job Description:**Option 1 (Focus on Responsibility & Oversight):**

The incumbent is responsible for the comprehensive oversight and management of nursing operations, encompassing the supervision of nursing personnel, including nurses, nurse managers, and nursing supervisors, across all units. This includes ensuring adherence to safety standards through communication with the infection control team, assisting in the strategic planning and distribution of tasks within critical care units, and actively participating in nursing team training programs, including disaster management. Furthermore, the incumbent contributes to the development of orientation programs and unit development plans in collaboration with the training team and Nursing Director. Responsibilities extend to the guidance of new employees, optimization of resource utilization, implementation of corrective actions for clinical errors, and the provision of patient and family health education. The role necessitates regular communication with staff and the Nursing Director, active participation in departmental meetings, and effective communication of organizational goals to managers and unit heads. The incumbent is also responsible for reviewing nursing policies and procedures, participating in performance improvement initiatives, serving as a liaison between nursing supervisors and the Nursing Director, maintaining accurate staff records, reviewing nursing rosters, compiling and submitting activity reports, monitoring nursing practice in accordance with professional ethics, assisting in employee counseling and evaluations, conducting annual performance assessments, and ensuring compliance with JCI requirements.
