Job Description:**Job Posting: Land Surveyor / CADD Technician**
**Overview:**
We are seeking a qualified Land Surveyor/CADD Technician to fill a vacant position. The successful candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D and demonstrate proficiency in cartographic principles. This role involves the creation of land survey drawings, topographic maps, profile drawings, alignment sheets, and contour maps.
**Core Responsibilities:**
* Conduct rigorous review and quality control of field data, ensuring seamless coordination with field personnel.
* Process raw field data into finalized project deliverables/drawings utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.
* Manage data effectively, including storage, filing, and reporting activities.
* Adjust survey observations to ensure accuracy and precision.
* Execute CADD production for a variety of survey projects, including plan/profile alignment sheets.
* Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols for all survey data.
* Maintain and update survey databases to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
* Manage and archive survey data on departmental computer systems.
* Maintain and update all survey software as necessary.
**Required Qualifications:**
* A degree (or equivalent) in land surveying or a closely related field such as topographical science.
* Demonstrated experience in data processing for land and topographical surveys.
* Extensive and demonstrable experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
* Proficiency in data processing techniques, including experience with Leica LGO, CADD packages, and data transformation routines.
* Minimum of five (5) years of related land surveying experience.
* Substantial experience in office-based data processing of field survey observations (GPS, Leveling, etc.).
* Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is preferred.
