**Summary:**

The Customer Portfolio Manager is accountable for project management, planning, and coordination activities related to production or service projects. This role ensures customer satisfaction by fulfilling orders and addressing needs within established financial and commercial parameters. The incumbent influences approaches, projects, and programs within the functional area and contributes to improved quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the team. This role has significant input into priorities and operates within established professional practices and policies. With moderate autonomy, the position requires a high degree of operational judgment.

**Roles and Responsibilities:**

The Customer Portfolio Manager will perform the following duties:

* Manage all contract performance-related activities, typically associated with a customer site.
* Serve as the primary interface between the customer and the project team, facilitating the effective transfer of information and requests.
* Ensure the timely resolution of issues, provide regular updates to the customer on project progress, and negotiate changes, variations, and solutions to arising issues.
* Maintain responsibility for adherence to contract service, operations, and performance specifications, as well as relevant financial and technical metrics.
* Conduct proposal negotiation and contract administration activities with minimal supervision.
* Support manager and senior contracts personnel on assigned contracts, serving as the customer liaison for contractual matters.
* Develop specialized knowledge within the relevant discipline, acting as a best practice/quality resource.
* Maintain awareness of the latest technical developments in the area of expertise.
* Contribute to strategy and policy development and ensure delivery within the area of responsibility.
* Possess in-depth knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; demonstrate a working knowledge of the competition and differentiating factors in the market.
* Apply sound judgment to make decisions and resolve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas such as operational/product management, manufacturing, technology, or engineering.
* Offer new perspectives on existing solutions.
* Utilize technical experience and expertise to perform data analysis in support of recommendations.
* Utilize multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own function to inform decisions.
* Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues.
* Potentially lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements.
* Effectively communicate difficult or sensitive information and work to build consensus.
* Develop strong persuasion skills to influence others on relevant topics.
* Demonstrate experience working with diverse customer stakeholders.

**Qualifications:**

* Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
* Strong oral and written communication skills.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
* Fluency in written and spoken Arabic is a plus.
* Expertise in GE Gas Power Services OTR processes and tools.
* Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to lead programs and projects.
* Knowledge and experience within the power industry.
* Experience in planning and executing outages.
* Familiarity with Contractual Service Agreements.
* Knowledge of the Field Service Portal (FSP) systems.
* Experience as a team leader in a dynamic, energetic, and proactive environment.
* Demonstrated communication and organizational skills.

Skills:

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university
Minimum of 8 years of experiences with experience in contract management, project management or field engineering
