Job Description :
Collect cost information and maintain an expenses databaseConstruct data accumulation systemsDetermine fixed costs (e.g. salaries, rent and insurance)Plan and record variable costs (e.g. purchases of raw material and operations costs)Review standard and actual costs for inaccuraciesPrepare budgeting reports (for the company and for each department)Analyze and report profit marginsPrepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost forecastsAssisting in month-end and year-end closingIdentify and recommend cost-effective solutionsFollow up on discount notices and make Form (41) for deduction and addition to taxes.Follow up the entry of purchase invoices , returns and make monthly purchase entries.Follow up the cost of inventory and main and subsidiary stores at the company level.Follow up the balances of suppliers, follow up some companies and agreements in force, after referring to the competent departments.Review the preparation of the company’s monthly salaries with the payroll officer.
Job Requirements :
Proven work experience from 4 – 6 years as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, General Accountant or similar role.Thorough knowledge of accounting proceduresIn-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Experience with accounting software.Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables)Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detailStrong time management skillsIntegrity, with an ability to handle confidential informationBSc degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant study
