The role entails establishing a Corporate Strategy function that sets, monitors and executes strategies for a Real Estate / Hospitality company with the aim of developing 18 resorts of a unique concept across 6 cities in Saudi Arabia. Size of each resort is around 1.8 million sqm.

Corporate Strategy Director – Real Estate and Hospitality – Riyadh

1- Strategic Planning:
Manage and maintain the strategic planning framework (process, templates, timetables, etc.) as a whole.Lead the development and communication of the corporate strategic direction including its vision, mission, strategic objectives, and goals.Define strategic initiatives to facilitate the implementation of the overall strategic direction.Facilitate the cascading of the corporate strategy into divisional and departmental strategies and business plans.Conduct research to identify new trends and innovations to leverage or embed in its activities and operations.Evaluate external and internal forces on a continuous basis using appropriate tools such as SWOT, PEST, etc.Develop presentations and reports for Board and Committees as applicable.

2- Performance Management:
Manage corporate performance management system and process, including identifying performance measures (KPIs) and their definition (KPI dictionary).Coordinate the development of SMART targets in a timely manner in close coordination with concerned divisions.Manage the data collection and analysis for each performance measure.Prepare performance management reports on a periodic basis.Analyse the performance of various business activities, including owned assets, franchised operations, and other activities, comparing them to defined targets and expectations and provide recommendations on how to address performance gaps where applicable.

3- EPMO
Oversee the development of project management templates, tools, methodologies, and practices across project lifecycle.Identify key initiatives that need to be tracked as projects and ensure establishment of the project in line with leading practices.Oversee the implementation of comprehensive project governance.Oversee the project governance through the identification of key stakeholders, setting up project reporting framework.Provide periodic reporting to cross-functional departments and top management, reflecting progress, escalations and required actions.Ensure compliance and content quality check in all projects.

Profile

Corporate Strategy Director – Real Estate and Hospitality – Riyadh

– Previous experience in successfully setting corporate strategies within the Real Estate / Hospitality industries preferably across the private sector.

– Track record in performance management systems and processes.

– Previous experience in oversight on all aspects of project management such as governance, key stakeholders, compliance / quality checks, and periodic reporting to cross functional departments and top management.

– Start-up experience is highly preferred.
