Job Description
General Characteristics (Job Summary)
– CONTROLL contracts on a project, provide guidance and support to project team especially on subcontracting and outsourcing related.
– Experience on Subcontract/vendor claim management in construction industry
Roles & Responsibilities
– Manage the contracts related to subcontracting & outsourcing related
– Provide guidance and support to project team especially on subcontracting part
– Act as a single point of contact for all formal and legal correspondence relating to the Contract
– Coordinate contract management strategy with all project participants, including Project Manager, Project Control Manager, Engineering Manager, Legal Group, and the Contract Management Group
– Control the identification of contract variations, extensions of time, and associated compensation, and lead negotiations if necessary
– Manage the procurement process, including supporting vendor claims and change orders, and lead negotiations if necessary
– Control the identification and management of risks, including sharing risk analysis and forecasting possible claims, and lead risk workshops if necessary
– Control the construction management process, including setting up standard formats for subcontractors and supporting subcontractor claims and contracts, and lead negotiations if necessary
– Control arbitration and litigation, including supporting contract entitlement and backup data with the Legal Group, and lead the resolution of disputes if necessary
– Develop and execute a contract change management plan, including identifying and managing changes to the contract scope, schedule, and budget, and lead negotiations if necessary
– Develop and execute a contract closeout plan, including ensuring that all contract requirements have been met and that all documentation is properly archived
– Develop and execute a contract management plan, including identifying and managing all contract-related activities and deliverables, and ensuring compliance with all contractual
– Review project contract close out
Skills
Experience
– 10+ years of experience in Contract Claim Management, Extension of Time, Delay Analysis, Change Management, Variation Order Management, Negotiation.
– Experience in construction field of oil / gas / petrochemical or power plants
Knowledge
– Professional Knowledge of contract management methodologies and tools
-Knowledge of FIDIC contract guidelines
– Knowledge of oil/gas/petrochemical or power plants Construction issues and the cost/schedule/risk factors associated.
– Knowledge and hands of experience on advance Microsoft Office
– Knowledge in data analysis
– Knowledge of Government laws on construction, tax, and insurances of the host country
– Knowledge of international construction standards
– Ability to deal with contractual qualifications efficiently and effectively
