Compliance manager (CAMS Mandate)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Compliance Officer with a strong background in fintech to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the regulatory environment surrounding fintech and will be responsible for ensuring our company is compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures for the company’s fintech products and services.
· Monitor and review regulatory changes and updates and advise the company on necessary changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
· Conduct compliance risk assessments to identify potential risks and areas of non-compliance and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
· Provide guidance and training to company employees on compliance policies and procedures.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and manage regulatory examinations and audits.
· Collaborate with other departments, such as Legal and Risk Management, to ensure compliance is incorporated into all aspects of the company’s operations.
· Ensure that customer complaints and concerns related to compliance are addressed and resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
· Work with third-party service providers and vendors to ensure their compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
· Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and the board of directors as required.
Skills
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance within the fintech industry.
· Strong knowledge of applicable laws and regulations, such as AML/KYC, E-Sign Act, TCPA, and PCI-DSS.
· UAE AML and compliance experience.
· Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to the company’s products and services.
· Demonstrated ability to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
· Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Experience working with regulatory agencies and managing regulatory examinations and audits.
· Professional certification in compliance or a related field (e.g. CRCM, CAMS) preferred.
