Job Description
- Managing all aspects of construction for your own live project and be reporting into the Project Manager,
- Controlling all aspects of the construction works,
- Keeping the project adequately resourced with plant and materials,
- Self-performing certain elements of works,
- Monitoring and controlling all aspects of H&S,
- Controlling and managing specialist sub-contractors,
- Keeping accurate records of production,
- Providing reports on works completed, etc.
Skills
- Extensive experience in production and supervisory role, and ideally have good bridge construction experience.
- Previous work history with the main contractor on medium or large scale project sizes.
- Extensive commitment and understanding of all matters relating to H&S and the Environment
- Demonstrated experience in directing and managing your own labour force to achieve the desired outcome, keeping in mind commercial constraints.
- Previous experience in managing specialist sub-contractors and self-performing works, with hands-on experience.
- With at least 10 years related working experience
