Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of all Civil and Structural Engineering for the project
- Developing engineering strategy and concepts
- Manage engineering work to ensure compliance to codes, swedish standards, regulations, equipment specifications, and process equipment operating targets
- Advancing quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
- Manage the work of our EPCM engineering partners
- Develop or select engineering and design standards and procedures to ensure that quality requirements are met and consistent
- Deliver engineering work on time, on budget, and with excellent quality.
Skills
Requirements:
- Making a safe work environment a priority
- Proven experience in managing engineering activities in major industrial capital projects
- Highly developed knowledge of civil and structural engineering
- Experience in project planning, execution (including construction realities), management, and communication with all stakeholders in large successful capital projects
- Extensive experience in working with EPCM civil/structural engineers
- Must be knowledgeable about industry best practices and change management
- Must have ‘owners team mindset’, incl. experience of managing engineering partners, and driving third parties.
Focus:
- Experience of construction engineering for large industrial projects
- Coordination between EPCM
- Support in engineering solutions and material selections,
- Support with local and international design standards
