Job Description:**Core Responsibilities:**

This position entails formulating and executing a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the institution’s growth objectives, capital requirements, and funding needs. Key responsibilities include leading capital raising initiatives, developing sophisticated financial models, and managing investor relations throughout the pre- and post-launch stages. This role necessitates optimizing the balance sheet while adhering strictly to Shariah principles, encompassing non-interest-bearing liabilities and Islamic investment structures. Furthermore, the incumbent will ensure full compliance with Qatar Central Bank (QCB) regulations, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) guidelines. This includes overseeing the preparation of financial reports, management dashboards, and regulatory filings. Establishing robust internal controls, accounting systems, and financial processes tailored for a digital-first institution is paramount. The role also encompasses the oversight of budgeting, forecasting, treasury operations, procurement, and expense management. Providing financial feasibility analysis, pricing models, and product profitability insights for Islamic financial products such as Murabaha, Mudaraba, Wakala, and Ijarah is crucial, along with developing digital dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), Lifetime Value (LTV), contribution margin, and breakeven analysis. This position requires close collaboration with the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) to effectively manage financial risk, asset-liability mismatches, and Shariah-compliant liquidity buffers, while monitoring and optimizing funding sources, capital adequacy, and profitability ratios. Finally, the incumbent will be responsible for recruiting and leading the finance and accounting function, fostering a performance culture characterized by transparency, accountability, and ethical financial stewardship.
