Job Description
We are currently seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing business data, identifying trends, and providing insights to help drive business growth. As a Business Analyst, you will need to be proficient in working with numbers, have experience in sales and retail, and possess strong problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze sales data and provide insights to help identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with various teams to develop strategies and implement initiatives aimed at improving business performance.
- Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to provide recommendations on areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations to provide stakeholders with data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across all business functions.
- Create financial models and projections to support business decision making.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new business processes and systems.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to management on ways to improve business performance
Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, IT or related field.
– 2+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role with a focus on sales and retail.
– Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis and reporting.
– Knowledge of statistical analysis and data visualization tools.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
– Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
– Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools is a plus.
– Experience with Microsoft BI.
