Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- To keep abreast of site and customer needs by continued development of customer relationships
- Providing technical support to peers, which may include other technical representatives, Account Managers, Engineers etc.
- Identifying sales and service opportunities
- To keep technical knowledge current – may require additional activities, such as self-learning on technical products
- Keep customer fully informed of possible system enhancements and upgrade paths
Skills
Key Experience and Capabilities:
- Intermediate to High computer skills
- Trade Certificate Essential or Engineering Degree
- Electrical or Electronics Associate Diploma or higher an Advantage
- Fault finding and repairs to electronic equipment
- Worked under a strict customer imposed KPI regime
- Working a mix of in the office, and on site
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Good communication – both verbal and written and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to work independently without supervision
- The ability to work under pressure
- A strong commitment to safety and a safe working environment
