Job Description:**Job Description**
The Assistant Project Manager collaborates with technical specialists and support functions to ensure the appropriate support mechanisms and specialist knowledge are applied to facilitate effective project delivery, typically under the direction of a Project Manager.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Operations**
* Ensure resolution of all access impediments prior to project commencement.
* Verify the availability of all necessary resources (equipment, vehicles, etc.) for utilization on Oil & Gas Infrastructure projects.
* Cultivate and maintain positive professional relationships with operational staff within Oil and Gas companies.
* Establish and maintain positive relationships with key personnel within governmental bodies and agencies.
* Maintain a database encompassing all operationally specific costs, providing this information monthly to operations and commercial staff.
* Delegate tasks to assigned personnel as appropriate.
* Assist and directly support the Project Manager or Operations Manager in the execution of assigned work and tasks.
* Execute assigned work in accordance with project targets, specifications, procedures, and work practices.
* Liaise directly with clients regarding contractual and operational matters.
**Financial**
* Assist the Project Manager in all financial matters, including invoicing and payments.
* Maintain accountability for all project-related and business-related expenditures.

* Ensure comprehension, implementation, and adherence to Fugro’s policies and procedures by all employees.

**Qualifications / Skills / Experience**
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Project Management.
* Up to two years of experience in project delivery or commercial roles.
* Fundamental understanding of accounting principles.
* Familiarity with relevant equipment and software applications.
* Proficient communication skills (written and verbal) in English.
