Assistant Math Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Assistant Math Teacher to join our team at our educational institution in New Cairo, Cairo. As an Assistant Math Teacher, you will be responsible for assisting the lead Math Teacher in delivering high-quality math education to students. This role requires a strong foundation in mathematics, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively support students in their learning journey.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the lead Math Teacher in planning and delivering engaging math lessons to students.
2. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help in understanding mathematical concepts.
3. Assist in the creation and administration of assessments to evaluate students’ understanding of math topics.
4. Grade assignments and provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their math skills.
5. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with parents/guardians regarding their child’s performance in math.
6. Collaborate with the lead Math Teacher and other faculty members to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
7. Supervise students during class and ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
8. Stay updated on the latest developments in math education and incorporate innovative teaching techniques into the classroom.

Preferred Candidate:

1. Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field.
2. Strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and the ability to explain them clearly to students.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Patience and the ability to work with students of different learning abilities.
5. Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
6. Passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students’ lives.
