Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities.
- Coordinates building scheduling, maintenance, repair and renovation, custodial, safety, security, construction, and/or maintenance, indoor cleaning, mechanical systems.
- Ensure that statutory requirements and company policies and procedures are implemented and deadlines are met.
- Oversees activities of contractors, vendor personnel, and suppliers; Monitors contracts for compliance and controls costs; monitors general expenditures of department,
- Maintains compliance with departmental security, audit procedures, and policy.
- Build long-term relationships with client that add value and are based on mutual trust
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement of people, systems, processes and services
- Ensure the availability of the equipment and tools
- Investigate and respond appropriately to complaints and requests
- Responds to the emergencies on a 24 hour basis
- Ability to manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities
- Proven ability to work in a partnership and collaborative way with other service providers
Skills
- Min. 10 years of experience in similar field
- Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, building materials, and emergency maintenance.
- Ability to coordinate quality assurance programs in area of specialty.
- Ability to inspect structures to determine repair needs.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment
- People skills, great interpersonal and team working skills
- Ability to communicate effectively to encourage good working relationships internally and externally
