About the job
Promoting department services to increase its market share and sales in the local market. In addition
to supervising marketing and cargo sales activities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implementing endorsed plans and programs to achieve set objectives.
- Monitoring cargo activities in the local market with respect to cargo prices, available space on air crafts and flight schedules.
- Analyzing cargo volumes booked on incoming flights and directing sales representatives to increase sales on low-selling sections.
- Setting plans for assigning tasks to sales representatives, monitoring their commitment to achieving their pre-set daily schedule and submitting daily reports by them.
- Reviewing cargo volume of Royal Jordanian and other airlines for the previous day through
- reports submitted by sales representatives.
- Keeping open communication channels with clients of the cargo department to encourage
- further cooperation and promoting additional services and resolving any problems.
- Monitoring market conditions and service offerings of other airlines to improve Royal Jordanian services and increase sales volume.
- Ensuring that security, safety, rules & regulations at work is well adhered to
