We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our salon and spa as an HR Assistant & office administrator. This dual role involves providing administrative support to the HR department while also assisting with general secretarial tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process HR-related documentation, such as employment contracts, offer letters, and performance evaluations.
- Assist in maintaining HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Coordinate employee benefits administration, including enrollments and claims processing.
- Support the HR team in organizing employee events and activities.
- Handle employee inquiries and provide basic HR-related information.
- Manage and maintain the executive’s calendar, scheduling appointments, and meetings.
- Answer and direct phone calls, take messages and handle correspondence.
- Prepare and distribute internal and external communications, including emails, memos, and reports.
- Assist with document preparation, such as creating and editing presentations, letters, and other business materials.
- Maintain filing systems, both physical and electronic, ensuring easy retrieval of documents.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, such as data entry, record keeping, and office organization.
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiarity with HR software or databases.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
