Accountant (E-commerce) — Laundor

What you’ll do

Daily/Weekly Operations

Reconcile Shopify orders, refunds, discounts, and shipping fees with payment gateways (e.g., Paymob/Kashier), bank statements, wallets, and COD courier settlements (collections minus delivery fees/RTS).

Maintain AR/AP ledgers, vendor bills, employee reimbursements, and petty cash.

Track returns/RTS and their financial impact (revenue reversal, shipping, write-backs).

Inventory & COGS

Maintain SKU-level inventory, landed cost sheets (product cost, freight, duties, packaging).

Post COGS and inventory adjustments; investigate variances and shrinkage.

Close & Reporting

Run month-end close (JE, accruals, prepayments, depreciation) with checklists.

Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and unit economics (AOV, gross margin per SKU).

Build cash-flow forecasts and working-capital dashboards.

What you’ll bring

BSc in Accounting/Finance; 3–5 years experience (at least 2 years in e-commerce/D2C preferred).

Solid knowledge of Egyptian tax (VAT, WHT, e-invoicing/e-receipts) and basic IFRS/EAS.

Hands-on with Shopify, Google Sheets/Excel (pivot tables, lookups), and one of Xero/QuickBooks/Odoo.

Comfortable reconciling payment gateways and COD couriers end-to-end.

Strong attention to detail, ownership, and clear English/Arabic communication.
