**Production Engineer – Cookers Assembly Line**

**Department:** Production

**Location:** Company Headquarters – Prifix Factory Premises

**Job Summary:**

The Production Engineer is responsible for the leadership and execution of the cooker production line’s launch and ongoing operations. This encompasses maintaining stringent quality control measures and optimizing productivity. The role includes the planning and development of technical processes to guarantee operational efficiency and product safety standards are met.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Collaborate with planning and engineering departments to analyze and design production line stages.
* Oversee the installation, commissioning, and operational functionality of cooker line equipment and machinery, encompassing forming, assembly, welding, leakage testing, and final finishing processes.
* Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all work stations within the production line.
* Monitor daily production activities to ensure optimal efficiency and adherence to quality benchmarks.
* Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues arising during production, coordinating with maintenance and engineering departments as necessary.
* Provide comprehensive training to supervisors and workers on operational methodologies and occupational safety protocols relevant to the cooker production line.
* Implement strategies for waste reduction, production rate enhancement, and downtime minimization.
* Collaborate with the quality assurance department to ensure full compliance with established cooker product quality standards.
* Generate regular technical reports detailing production line status, production rates, and operational challenges.
* Recommend and implement continuous improvements in design and production processes to bolster market competitiveness.

**Qualifications:**

* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical Production, Electrical, or Mechatronics).
* One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Demonstrated knowledge of metal fabrication, welding, heat treatment, and assembly methodologies.
* Experience utilizing process analysis tools.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD and related engineering software applications.
* Exceptional leadership capabilities and a proven track record of achieving targets within defined timelines.
